After the usual, daily quality time with his newest spellbook, Yscar goes into the town and searches out the local blacksmith.
Yscar says: "Hey there big guy! I heard you are the one around here who knows how to use a hammer aye? I would like to ask if you could help me out with this.." and he puts out his familiar cage from his backpack and puts it on the table in front of the minotaur.(The familiar is not in the cage atm, he left her in his room) Yscar continues: "This is the cage of my pet. The size of the cage is perfect, but I'm not used to carry that much weight. I would like to ask if you could replicate this cage from a different material, which would be lighter, but still could fully support my toad. I would ofc pay for your time handsomely. What do you think? Can you help me and my lil pet out with this?"

The blacksmith, Bael, looks up from the metal on his anvil he was hammering away. At the wizard's inquiry, he glances at the hammer in his own hands then nods to the human. "Aye, I am. What can I do for you?"
As the cage is brought out, he looks it over, setting his current project aside. "Lighter? Aye, I can do that if you bring me the material. The only thing lighter that what you have here would be a cage made out of elvish Darkwood or Mithril. Bring me that and I can do my best to make it a bit lighter. Alas, I have not the materials to do so presently."
